    Hey folks,

I’m Jean Mu, 2nd year student at Sciences Po Lille, treasurer of l’Arène de l’IEP, MUNWALK and USG for Finance of SPLIMUN. If you don’t see me handling loads of cash, I may be singing “We are the world” or high fiving the whole planet.

On a more serious note, my Model UN journey started a bit more than a year ago. Today, it is with great pride that I hold the position of USG for finance of a conference which was once the first ever MUN conference I had attended. Hope y’all will enjoy SPLIMUN as much as I did when I first took part in it.

Other from society work, I like jazz, politics and probably other things I would have to think about if I was not writing this text at 11pm.

Can’t wait to see y’all in March !

  • Salma Fadhloun

    UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL FOR STAFF

    Hiii luvs,

It’s Salma, your favorite USG. I’m a second year student in Sciences Po, the school that will be hosting you during the best conference ever.

As a delegate I’ve always loved crisis’ committees, embodying characters like Bill Clinton in 2010 or Zhou Enlai in 1937. I love that crises allow you to travel through time and visions. I believe that my favorite aspect of MUN is that it is the intersection of my passion for international relations, history and politics, imagination, and writing. In my time as a delegate I was able to do crazy stuff like sending an army of crazy chickens to infect my enemies or invade a country by mistake (only once, so it's okay).

SPLIMUN was the first conference I ever took part in, when I first started my MUN journey over a year ago. So this event holds a very special place in my heart. And I am so glad to know that the whole team is working so hard to make sure that it’ll feel so dear to you too.

In this conference I will also be responsible for solving all the crises and handling our staff. I will once again have to get creative to make your experience unforgettable.

I trust all of SPLIMUN’s secretariat, chairs and staff to make this conference so incredible for you guys.

In my free time I love to read, write, and be an amazing friend. I hope we will be able to meet during the conference so you guys can tell me more about yourself.

  • Clara Lallemand

    UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL FOR COMMUNICATIONS

Hello everyone, my name is Clara Lallemand, and I am a second-year student at Sciences Po Lille. Last year, I had the chance to take part in the FWWMUN in Rome as the delegation of Turkey during a 3-days conference. I also had the great pleasure to take part in SPLIMUN’s last year edition where I represented Virginie Despentes in the Commission on the Status of Women committee. As I particularly enjoyed my experience as a MUNWALK and SPLIMUN delegate, I wanted to be a part of the Secretariat for this year. Being the USG for Communications of SPLIMUN is a real challenge for me, as I get to combine both creativity and Model UN. Taking care of the conference image is teaching me technical skills, as well as team-working skills. I am very pleased to be a part of the organization of this year’s conference and I hope delegates and chairs will enjoy it as much as I enjoy communicating about it!

Outside of my involvement in Model United Nations, I am also in charge of organizing a weekend to Amsterdam for Sciences Po Lille students as part of the Bureau des Arts, which is one of the artistic associations of Sciences Po Lille, as I particularly enjoy discovering and travelling the world. What’s more, I also take care of the communications of another association of Sciences Po Lille, InterAgir, which is a solidarity association that helps the exiled populations of the area.

  • Amandine Chabrier

    UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL FOR COMMUNICATIONS

Hello everyone and welcome to our SPLMUN website, which I'm proud to have created!

I'm Amandine, a second-year student at Sciences Po, and I'm both the head of communications for MUNWALK and SPLIMUN.

I'm passionate about the Middle East and the Arab world and I'm doing a degree specialising in the region. I'm also studying Arabic with the aim of considering a diplomatic career. I'm particularly interested in all issues relating to international and humanitarian law, as well as security (terrorism or space).

But don't be fooled by my serious demeanour! I have the soul of an artist ! Poet, dancer, painter and video artist in my spare time, I don't shy away from anything and I handle MUNWALK and SPLIMUN communications like a boss with creativity! One thing's for sure, I'm always running around, sometimes because I'm obsessed with my artistic projects and sometimes because work calls me back.

Because I like to be stimulated, I've taken part in crisis committees since my MUN experience began (CHOMUN, SPLIMUN) and I’ve loved it!

I can't wait to meet you, talk to you and highlighting you like you've never been before through my caring perspective as communications manager. Best regards dear friends.

  • Guillaume Raoult

    UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL FOR STAFF

    Hello everyone, I'm Guillaume Raoult.

After a year in a literary preparatory class, I started a course at Sciences Po Lille. I mainly study politics, economics and law. I'm thinking of doing a master's in public affairs.

My typical week consists of getting heavily involved in various associations, including le Bec et la Plume and l'Arène. The first is an oratory association, where I write speeches and do mock parliamentary debates. The second association organises political conferences at Sciences Po.

So it was quite natural for me to join MUNWALK this year. I still write speeches and have to express myself well, but this time in English! That makes it all the more challenging. I had the opportunity to take part in the LIMUN conference this year, which was a fantastic experience.

I'll be delighted to be in charge of communications at the SPLIMUN. As Under-Secretary General for Communications, I'll be capturing all the highlights of the conference in Lille, to make your experience even better.

  • Maëlle Caux

    UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL FOR DELEGATES

I am 19 and a first-year student in Politics and International Relations (in a double-degree) between Sciences Po Lille and the University of Kent. At the same time, I'm pursuing a law degree at the University Paris Panthéon Assas. This demanding degree gives me the opportunity to explore new fields and thus with pleasure.

I recently left the magnificent Versailles for the charming city of Lille.

As I love to discover new things, I'm very happy to be part of the team as (Under-Secretary General for Registration - USG delegate, vous pouvez le changer je ne sais pas quel est le nom precis haha).

If you ever break your leg or if you ever get lost in Sciences Po, you should definitely come to me !

I am thrilling to take part in this wonderful and enriching experience!!

Outside of SPLIMUN, when I’m not interrailling you may found me at the bar with my friends or running qround La Citadelle.

  • Sasha Sanchez

    UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL FOR DELEGATES

I study Political sciences at Sciences Po Lille as a first year student but I started college last year at the law school of the UCLy with a one year diploma of Political and Social Studies. I was originally born in Lyon, in the Easter France from a french mother and a Spanish father which led me to be surrounded by both cultures. I always wanted to be involved in the MUN world but didn't join it until the very year with the MUN association of the school, Munwalk. I first started as a delegate during a 3-month training period and was then proposed to join the organization team of SPLIMUN 2024.

Aside from the MUN, I really enjoy learning new languages and the different cultures of the world. I also believe that you can't have a sane and calm mind if you don't have a healthy body, therefore I like to practice multiple sports such as cycling, boxing and tennis.

I look forward to working with all of you as a USG for Delegates and I hope you're as thrilled as I am for the upcoming SPLIMUN 2024 !

  • Eulalie Contier

    UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL FOR EXTERNAL RELATIONS

I am a 2nd year student in political science, economics and International relations at Sciences Po Lille. Born and raised in the north of France, I had the chance to grow up immersed in Franco-Scottish dual-culture and a bilingual environment. My model UN journey began in high school in 2019 where I represented the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I then further developed my keen passion for MUN in Sciences Po Lille’s MUNWALK society where I had the chance to sponsor the winning resolution at the final simulation and to be awarded an honourable mention in Rome at the Future We Want 2023 conference. As 2024 marks an exciting new stage in my MUN journey, I am now honoured to be Under-secretary General for External Relations in SPLIMUN.

Outside of MUN, I am looking forward to laying the foundations for a career in business management. Additionally, I enjoy spending my free time writing, listening to various styles of music and admiring a nice sunset on the beach with my friends. I am also deeply interested in all forms of art and in particular fashion and haute couture, having a deep fondness for the works of designers such as Vivienne Westwood and John Galliano.

I am looking forward to building a remarkable conference experience for delegates, chairs, and faculty advisors alike.

  • Amandine Faye

    UNDER-SECRETARY GENERAL FOR EXTERNAL RELATIONS

I am currently a first year student in Sciences Po Lille and University of Kent double cursus. What's funny is that I was born in Lille but I got to visit it for the first time while taking my bi-diploma exam for Sciences Po! In fact, I moved a lot, both across France (Strasbourg, Nancy, Lyon), and the world as I got to live for 4 years in South Africa. Through this international experience and travels, I strengthened my career aspirations to work in the field of diplomacy and international relations.

Thus, I began my MUN journey in high school by co-creating my school MUN, in Lyon. I was at first Chair of the UNEP committee and then I became Secretary General of the MUN. Besides, I also joined the MUNWALK adventure as soon as I arrived in Sciences Po Lille. Hence, I will put my organizing skills and knowledge of MUN conferences to the use of the SPLIMUN to ensure we offer delegates the best experience possible! Looking forward to meeting you all!
